• Our company was established in 1925 and originally sold printing equipment and supplies to public school systems.
• The company was purchased in 1961 by John L. Schrum, Jr. and began selling printed forms to the apparel industry.
• In 1978 John L. Schrum III was hired after graduating from Wofford College and became President.
• In 2003 our company branched into the library supply business after identifying a need for affordable book jacket covers.
• We currently supply some of the world's largest apparel companies with production control forms.
• R.T. Barbee sells to companies in the United States, Canada, Mexico, Central America and the Caribbean. 
• During the year 2005 we focused on improving manufacturing efficiency and expanding our library product offerings.
• In 2006 we serve public libraries in thirty-two states and apparel manufacturers in ten countries.
